1st Sunday Ride
I will check on the B&B for our 1st Sun ride for Oct? Is it on rt 250? I just posted something for 1st Sun ride, but anyone that wants to eat later at a different place can post something else. I need to eat early because of a picnic at 12:30. Sept 1st Sun ride will be at the Rally at Sherando Lake like in the past I guess. Butch

The one I mentioned? Yes, out in West Augusta on 250. Coming back from the mountains, I think it's one of the first things you come to. If I'm reading the map right, it's just west of the Y intersection with the gas station (Deerfield Valley Road).

The Tavern was closed by the Health Dept Sun & Mon Aug 3-4. '' I'm not sure where Butch and the others went for breakfast since I was running late this morning.
I stopped by the Shenandoah Mountain Inn in West Augusta. They offer "breakfast anytime"...starting about 8:00 am Sundays. The menu: "2 large eggs, 3 strips of bacon, home fried potatoes, pot of fresh coffee, orange juice, toast only $4.75 tax included." Bonus: there's a pool table adjacent to the breakfast tables, free to patrons!

I'm still waiting on a reply for the breakfast spot to post. I'll be away First Sunday (again), so someone with a stake in this needs to speak up. I rode by the Shenandoah Inn yesterday and it's still there, but looked a little forloin. The sign didn't indicate whether they were open for breakfast Sunday (or any other day). Nice time of year to be out that way, though.
