BRB stickers
Most of y'all have probably seen the classic Blue Ridge Beemers stickers (shown below). I don't have any more and I think it's time to reorder them, which I can easily take care of but I wanted to see if anyone had suggestions for improvements.
I like the existing logo and tend to keep logos the same just for continuity. However, we can print on retroreflective stock, change the size, swap the colors around, maybe even add a lighter blue in one part. Let's hear your ideas!

Looks nice. Reflective stock might also be nice. I suppose a more colorful one would also be good - can't recall exactly but didn't the logo on old website have green mountains, blue sky etc.?
Either way, I'm down for one or two when you print...

Re: BRB stickers
Reflective stock for sure. Light blue or green for the center mountain/road would be nice.

Re: BRB stickers
Funny, I was just wondering if a re-order was in the works.
My last one peeled off in pieces when I washed the RT this weekend.
Reflective stock would be great.
I'm a traditionalist, so current color and layout is fine.
That said, not opposed color changes suggest. Black road?
Thanks for doing this.

Re: BRB stickers
I was just asking around about where to find a repacement sticker as the blue ink started to run on the wone I have. I lasted for a number of years, and other than the ink running, it weathered well.
And you might ask yourself, "where does that highway go?"

OK, I'll try to get this rolling. I know a couple of people who might do this sort of stuff.

Re: BRB stickers
I have about 200 of them in production - should last us for a while. Maybe have them in a week? Hopefully in time for the May breakfast, so clean off those spots on the saddlebags!

Re: BRB stickers
I have 'em. Paler blue than before, which I think will be a good change. So if the old one was like █this█ the new one is like █this█.
See y'all at breakfast in May.

We weren't there. We won't be good for much of anything socially until late May, but we'll try to make breakfast.

Re: BRB stickers
Troy has the stickers.
A BMW-riding customer of mine has a business in town doing lots of cool signage (everything from decals to sandblasted stone) and he made them. Charged me a low price and then threw in the protective film (extending the sticker life in direct sunlight) for free. Since the BRB has no dues or bookkeeping of any kind, I am (well, actually Virginia Motorrad Werkstatt is) donating these to the club. Rats, I should have put my name on them. FWIW the total was $84 for 200 stickers plus a bunch of extras that got slightly miscut (the circle cut isn't exactly centered on the blue circle, but he threw them in anyway).
So, they are for the use of local riders. Since the BRB has no membership requirements, there aren't really any conditions regarding who can have one and who can't. I have to figure that people who don't want to use one won't take one, so control of the inventory isn't a huge issue.
I have a few of them here if anyone wants to stop by.

Re: BRB stickers
Thanks for the effort, Anton. I think we should sell the stickers for several reasons:
- Reimbuse Virginia Motorrad Werkstatt,
- Fund the forum hosting,
- Pay charter fee with MOA,
- Create an actual membership list.
I've been fudging the number of members when chartering with MOA and RA from what looks like actual local riders on the forum membership list and the RA and MOA membership numbers I've collected. But then somebody (Troy) would have to fool with the money. Would $2 per sticker be reasonable?

Re: BRB stickers
Sounds fine, but I'm happy to let you have the final say on the numbers. At $2 it's obviously not about the money. Say 40 stickers get sold per year; that's about $60 of pure capitalistic greed-driven profit (woo-hoo, let's go to Tahiti!) which covers the MOA fee ($10?) plus more than its share of my website, which pays for itself through Google Ads anyway. If we need a number for it, let's say the BRB forum occupies 15% of my site, which costs a total of about $100 per year plus $15 or so for the domain name.
This starts to become an accounting thread but if there's anything else we need to consider (postage, etc) that should factor in before the final number is set. Sounds like we have a club treasurer, in addition to a president and membership chairman.
OTOH we can also create some other BRB-branded items if there's a demand. There were BRB long-sleeve tees but really I have so many teeshirts now, I'd personally rather look at making something there's a real demand for.
