May Breakfast ride

Post by jeff.ward » Tue Apr 05, 2005 9:03 am

Hi All,
If nobody has particular plans for the May breakfast ride, May 1, I'd like to host a breakfast for the group. I'd like to get a chance to meet everybody, and the weather is starting to look like a picnic type breakfast would work.
Since I am in Waynesboro, I was thinking that I could have everything ready when we meet at Raven's Roost overlook (milepost 13 or so on the Blue Ridge Parkway) say at 9 o'clock. I'd probably fix ham biscuits, coffee, fruit, and cinnamon buns.
I've not been on a ride with you yet, so maybe someone could plan a route for the ride, leaving from Raven's Roost.
If the weather isn't suitable, I could certainly do this later in the summer.
Just let me know if you are interested.
Thanks, Jeff Ward R69US, R1150GS, 1/2 of a smoke R90S, 1/2 of a Daytona Orange R90S.

Jeff,
Sounds like a good idea. Maybe the BRBs at Morton's Open House tomorrow could discuss this and put up a poll on the forum to get a head count.

I'm posting Jeff's offer as the May First Sunday Ride. Be sure to let Jeff know if you are going to be there by a reply to the post or a personal message.
