New Blue Ridge Beemer rider !

Post by JoeBeemer » Tue Oct 30, 2007 9:06 pm

Hi All;

Found this group from the Motorcycle Virginia site. Just got back into bikes after a long absence . . . > 20 years. After having five four wheel Bimmers, I coughed up for an R1200C two wheeler. '99 with a tad over 2000 miles now.
Haven't ridden as much as I want as the day before I got it I severely strained my calf responding to a fire call and am still limping.
Lookin' forward to some good rides and learning more about Beemers from you all.

Sounds like a First Sunday at the Innwood Restaurant in Gordonsville may be in order.

JoeBeemer,

If you're new to the R1200Cs, check out http://www.chromeheads.org. Lots of good information. Fellow chromies are always willing to share.
