BMW Motorcycle Photo Contest

Post by Chuck » Thu Oct 13, 2005 4:39 pm

A Note to MOA Chartered Clubs:

Dear BMW MOA chapter:

I was gently reminded by a club webmaster to "bcc" to folks to avoid
spamming. My apologies to previous recipients.

My name is Charlie King. I am an avid GS rider, a member of the 'MOA
(#82900) and member of the WA State BMW Riders (www.WSBMWR.org). I am
also the President of the Child Safety Alliance. I am writing your
group to let them know about a fun project I’m sponsoring that I think
your group may be interested in.

BMWimageworld.com, in association with the Child Safety Alliance is
sponsoring a BMW motorcycle photo contest. BMW motorcycle riders and
enthusiasts are encouraged to submit photos of themselves with their
bike, their bike in an action shot, or their bike with a beautiful or
dramatic back-drop.

The twelve winners of the photo contest will be PUBLISHED in the 2006
BMWimageworld.com calendar. The calendars will be on sale as of
December 1 both on-line and in retail locations. Winners will also
share over $1,000.00 worth of prizes and gift certificates from
participating BMW retailers and dealers.

Proceeds from the sale of the calendar will be a charitable donation to
the Child Safety Alliance, a charitable organization committed to
ending avoidable childhood injuries through education.

The deadline for submitting photos is October 31, 2005. Our group has
lots of shutter bugs who’ve been taking beautiful shots of themselves
with their bike. I’m sure you’ve got (at least) a couple of them as
well in your group.

A copy of the article published in the September BMW Owner’s News about
this project can be e-mailed to you at your request. I just didn't want
to "supersize" my e-mail beyond some servers capacity ;)

You can see more about the contest at: www.BMWimageworld.com
You can learn more about child safety at: www.childsafetyalliance.org

You can always contact me at: charlie.king@childsafetyalliance.org

Thanks so much for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Charlie
