BMWST.COM is holding a large rally in Staunton this weekend - folks from across the country will be attending, so we will probable see a few more beemers on the road than usual.
They are a very friendly bunch...of course!

A slight correction...the BMWST.COM rally is June 6-10 so we will only catch the early arrivals.

Dave,
Post an invitation to join us on the bmwst.com forum. We can give them a good road preview.

Hi J.D.
I started with that list back when it was BMWRT.COM and never changed my bookmark and it still works, so that or BMWST.COM or BMWSportTouring.COM all take you to the same place.
If I can break loose for a day I hope to catch up with them, but I'm going to miss most of it.
See you in a bit!

Lynn's seems to be a popular breakfast spot for the BRB's. Ten folks for breakfast and nice bike display in the parking lot with Jeff's R69S and Sean's R90S (from the BRB classified ads).

Our ride took us across the valley via VA 254/275 north of Staunton, then through Spring Hill, Moscow, Mossy Creek, Spring Creek and Rawley Sprngs before a traffic -free Shenandoah Mountain crossing on US 33. Then south from Brandywine to Sugar Grove, through Moyers Gap and a constsruction detour through a deteriorating back road that eventually put us back into Virginia and on to Doe Hill and McDowell. After a short break we continued south through the Bullpasture River Gorge, past Williamsville and on to lunch at the Mill Creek Cafe in Goshen. After lunch we continued east through Goshen Pass, up VA 252 to Brownsburg, then east to Vesuvius and the BRP with a gas stop at Raphine. Temps reached the 90's in the afternoon, but my bike thermometer showed the temperature drop from 91F at Vesuvius to 77F on the Parkway. The ride officially ended at Swift Run Gap, but the four of us remaining continued home along the South River to Rockingham County.
