Lunch Ride to Paint Bank, VA. 05/06/2012

Here is the Route to the Paint Bank Lunch. Joe and I will be in Buffalo Gap at 10:30 AM Sunday, 05-06-2012. Bob

Meet in Buffalo Gap, VA. at gas station: (where rt. 42 & rt. 254 intersect. / 7 miles west of Staunton, VA.)
Junction Convenience
2968 Parkersburg Tpke, Swoope, VA 24479

From Buffalo Gap to Goshen:
42 s = 21.2 mi/ 25 min.

To Warm Springs:
39 w = 21.4 mi/ 31 min.

To Covington:
220 s = 25.5 mi/ 31 min.

To Paintbank, VA. and Lunch.
18 s = 26 mi/ 41 min.

Total miles one way: 94
Total time: 2 hrs. 12 min.

I have the date marked. My current plan would be to meet you all at Paint Bank. Coming from the Southern Lynchburg area seems to lend itself to a 'southern' route (~110 miles per mapquest). Where is the final destination (food)? I am trying to get a group to ride with me from my area. I hope the weather is nice.

Kevin, It is at the Paint Bank General Store. Where SR 600 intersects with RT. 311. Bob

Not sure if I will make it at this point. I cant seem to get anyone in the Lynchburg area interested in making the trip.
