2nd Annual Twin Valley Rally

Post by starcitybeemer » Wed Jun 22, 2011 11:30 am

You may already have seen info on RA and MOA, but wanted to give fellow Virginians a heads-up before the registration fills up with out of towners.

Twin Valley Riders (MOA #284, Roanoke and New River Valleys, VA) is again hosting the Twin Valley Rally Sept. 16-18, 2011. The rally will be held at Willville Motorcycle Camp in Meadows of Dan (http://www.willvillebikecamp.com/), and we are pleased to have Will welcome us for the second year. Last year's event, which was rather rapidly (though not hastily) planned in a matter of 4 weeks, was a great success, and this year's iteration should surpass expectations with the benefit of many months of work.

Pre-registration is required, and can be done online through pay-pal (you don't need a pay-pal account, a credit card is fine) at http://www.twinvalleyriders.com Don't put off registering, as we will cap attendance at 125 to keep from overwhelming Will's hospitality.

The $40 rally fee covers 2 nights camping, Friday and Saturday night dinners including on-site smoked BBQ with all the fixin's on Saturday, morning coffee, and a rally decal. We'll have live music, door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, as well as some additional perks for an extra cost (t-shirts, on-site chair massage, an all-you-can-eat breakfast sponsored by the VFW in Meadows of Dan, etc.)

If anyone knows of a venue that might help out by putting up a flyer (or a rider that prefers the printed word to the internet), here's the link: http://salparadise.net/images/rallyflyer2011.pdf

Hope to see some of you out this Fall!
