Hey Butch, November 8th is the second Sunday. In any case, I'll be there...

Anybody want to ride next Sunday (the 1st) too?

Looks like Cyndi will be joining us with her new toy that we picked up yesterday! It's not a Beemer, but a good fit for her and that's really all that matters, right?

With the rain this morning, are you guys still meeting for breakfast? Bob

Don't know about anyone else, but I'm probably going to pass (wimp out) today. I don't mind riding in the rain, but cold and wet is not the best way to start a ride.

Maybe we can shoot for next Sunday? Then Butch can claim that his original post (Nov 8th) was not a mistake, but an enlightened prediction. :P

I was looking forward to meeting some of you folks today. The weather forecast changed quickly from a great riding day into all this rain. I'm new to the area, formerly from New Hampshire (Yankee Beemers) and then a short stay in Philly where I got to meet and ride with many of the Mac Pac. I sure hope we could do this next weekend????

Well, next Sunday is looking much better and (if you believe accuweather.com) the rain should taper off by 1:00 today. If that happens, I'll probably go for a short ride this afternoon. Finally fixed my Motolights, so that's as good a reason as any to ride.

Welcome aboard, Mary! Always look forward to meeting riders who are new to the area. Mac-Pac seems like an "interesting" group, to say the least. Some real characters there. Anyone who has both a wrench and an eating utensil on their logo is sure to pique my curiosity.

Hey Guys the breakfast ride this morning was attended by a record crowd of Butch and myself. The homemade toast was tasty. If we want a make up date next sunday I will be there. And it was raining on this side of the Blue Ridge.

If the weather's good, is there any interest in a lunch ride to Helvetia? Is the Hutte still serving?

Sounds like a plan. I'm game & I'll see if any of my buddies want to join up. Don't know anything about the resturant. Bob

There's a listing for the Hutte on the web with this link from 2/16/2009 that says it has delicious Swiss food:

Is there any interest in meeting up for a Lunch Ride as Anton suggested? To The Hutte Resturant in WV this Sunday. Bob
