Anybody going to Fredericksburg this weekend?

Friday is Sport Bike Night with the Open House (demo rides, door prizes, etc.) on Saturday.

Details at http://mortonsbmw.com/oktoberfest_2009.html

This, in particular, caught my eye:
  • "FREE suspension seminar in the service department. Bring in your bike and let us set the suspension for you and your riding style!"
If anyone wants to ride over together on Saturday morning, let's meet at the Sheetz in Ruckersville around 7-ish and be ready to roll by 7:30.

I am seriously tempted ... I wanted to make this past weekend, but work got in the way. I will let you know later in the week if I can join you. I would love to take advantage of the suspension seminar ... and a good excuse to wear my lederhosen.

Hey Mike, I think my brother-in-law and I followed you down 220 to Monterrey Sunday heading home from the RA rally. I have been meaning to ask if that was you. We both were enjoying the sound of your bike. He also has a 2004 K1200GT.

Hi Paul,

Good chance that was indeed me you saw on Sunday morning after the RA rally. I did take US-220 down to Monterey on the way home and recall seeing two Beemers in the rear view mirror for a while. Yes, that ZTechnik exhaust on the GT certainly does have a distinctive sound. Maybe a bit louder than I prefer, but I've learned to deal with it.

Hope to see you at Morton's (or Sheetz) Saturday morning.
