I'd thought of the RA, too, John. Let's keep in touch on that.

MOA Rally

Anyone going? I just booked passage on the high-speed ferry from Muskegon, MI to Milwaukee on July 11, for the 4:45 p.m. sailing - the entire boat is reserved for MOA for that departure time. Round trip fare is pricey at $184 (senior rate), but it oughta be fun. Anyway, I'd be interested in hooking ...

Re: July First Sunday Breakfast and Ride

GT's overheating. If the thermostat I ordered is delivered to Hammersley today, if I don't have any problems installing it, and if that's indeed the problem, I'll see ya there!

I'll jump in here, Tim. I took the ERC in Lynchburg several years ago - I guess the curriculum's pretty standard. Given the low cost and a day's worth of your time, I think the ERC has good value. The emphasis is on low speed manuvering, with some swerve and braking drills. They'll also stay on you ...

Looks like great riding weather tomorrow, see you fellers there. I'll have a guest, Ken Perkins, a fine gent who's a Longwood College faculty member and RT rider.

Best,

Ya know, Anton, something was still nagging at me about the needle notch so I checked Clymer's and sure enough, it's supposed to be in the bottom, not middle notch. Actually, it says "third" notch. I think I'd previousy misread that to mean third from bottom notch rather than third from top. So, I r...

R90S Carbs Sorted!

Since I whined a fair amount at the Nov. 7 ride breakfast about motor problems with my R90S, I thought I'd report that all's well. Turned out to be a simple thing - the carb main jet needles were on the top notch which was starving the motor at 4K and above. I think I may have put them in that posit...

Recommendation for Largiader Cycles

My R90S had been sitting for almost two years with some nagging carb and ignition problems that I hadn't been able to lick. When I noticed that Anton was going to start a bike repair shop, I decided to try him out. I knew from his posts on the various Beemer lists that he knew his stuff. I just pick...
