Re: November First Sunday

We decided to just be lazy. We had a good day working outside the house, really some enjoyable stuff, but at the same time I do regret missing out on the reincarnated Lynne's. How was it? Sorry to read about the EWS issue on the GS (saw it over on the MOA forum). I'll bring a spare to breakfasts fro...

Re: Breakfast spots?

Last Sunday we had breakfast at The Nook, on the Downtown Mall. Food was fine. Looks like a decent menu in the $7 range. The place itself is a bit odd. First thing I noticed (it really might have been my imagination) was that there was a smell like someone had peed in there. Maybe some bum had walke...

Re: Board upgrade

Thanks Chuck. And it's nice to see that y'all can log in.

As time permits I'll be trying to improve the interface. I'll get the photo back up, etc. If you see something really funny-looking at some point, it's probably me trying something new.

Board upgrade

I don't at all like the new look and feel of phpBB3, but I had to upgrade. The old installation was not secure enough and the ISP shut me down.

Hopefully as time goes on I'll get it to look a bit better.

Wow. This was someone who had come to some of our breakfast rides? I don't remember him but I have missed a lot of the recent gatherings.

I'll touch base with the TVRs and see if anything is planned.

My deepest condolences to his family. Events like this can really just come out of the blue.

The one I mentioned? Yes, out in West Augusta on 250. Coming back from the mountains, I think it's one of the first things you come to. If I'm reading the map right, it's just west of the Y intersection with the gas station (Deerfield Valley Road).

7:30, holy bakers Batman. I don't think you're going to get much of a turnout then!

That B&B operation out in West Augusta claims to be under new management, and still has the breakfast sign out. One day someone has to get some feedback on that place. It's always looked interesting to me.

Cool; I'm buying a seat cover for an R100GS. Maybe I'll get Danny to install it.

Hey Sam,

I don't know you but that was one nice K75RT if I remember correctly! :)

Maybe see y'all at breakfast this Sunday. Not sure yet.

I think the F800 series is pretty cool. Meredith rode them at the press launch and was really impressed.

I have no idea which one I'd choose. Meredith liked the S more than the ST, but none of us has ridden the GS yet.

First and foremost, thank you folks for buying me breakfast! FWIW the website (of which BRB is less than 10%, maybe less than 5%) is about $120/yr, and the domain name is about ten bucks. Not high finance exactly. Our other volunteer of course is Chuck, who handles the club charters with RA and MOA....
