Re: BRB stickers

I have 'em. Paler blue than before, which I think will be a good change. So if the old one was like █this█ the new one is like █this█.

See y'all at breakfast in May.

Re: BRB stickers

I have about 200 of them in production - should last us for a while. Maybe have them in a week? Hopefully in time for the May breakfast, so clean off those spots on the saddlebags!

Re: BRB stickers

OK, I'll try to get this rolling. I know a couple of people who might do this sort of stuff.

Re: Easter on the Blue Ridge, 12 April 2009

Steve Coburn used to organize that. I don't even know how to get in touch with that Canadian crowd. Was it a specific club?

Re: Rolling Rally between MOA and RA rallies

The only real problem is that Willville isn't that far from Gray. So the first day would have to be a big loop, which makes for good riding but is a bit strange as far as actually traveling goes.

But Meadows of Dan is a nice enough stop, with at least one restaurant IIRC.

BRB stickers

Most of y'all have probably seen the classic Blue Ridge Beemers stickers (shown below). I don't have any more and I think it's time to reorder them, which I can easily take care of but I wanted to see if anyone had suggestions for improvements. I like the existing logo and tend to keep logos the sam...

Rolling Rally between MOA and RA rallies

We're trying to set up a rolling rally from Johnson City to Canaan Valley, and one overnight would be near Charlottesville. Does anyone have suggestions for a good overnight place (could be 20 to 50 people) with camping, motels and a suitable restaurant or two? The idea is that people can actually g...

Re: Breakfast spots?

We were at Lynne's today. The waitress didn't even bring menus and expected us to do the buffet. When asked, she brought them but then said "Everything on there is at the buffet" and the prices were essentially the same. They really want people to go to the buffet. So we mentioned that Lynne's USED ...

Re: March Second Sunday

I can't believe we missed LaTaza! Meredith's folks were in the area for the weekend so we met them at Lynne's. I bet you had a better breakfast. We did see Chuck on I-64 going east.

Lynne's was not as great as it was, largely due to the buffet, but that'll go in a different thread.

Re: Our Chartered Club Info - Time to Update?

I think I was tempted to change some of that info when I moved to VA but didn't want to step on anyone's toes. The RA being up to date should come as no surprise. :) We can give out @blueridgebeemers.org email addresses if there's a benefit. We could make the admin contact flow through that and then...

Strange forum behavior

Some of y'all may have noticed that there was a problem posting new topics recently. Some files got scrambled by Dreamweaver (I think) on my end when I did the last upgrade and either no one noticed or the problem didn't manifest itself until something else happened on the server. People using the S...

Just been doing other stuff! Happened to be out of town for a few of the breakfasts, plumb forgot about one or two after I got out of the habit. Need to get back in gear again

Re: Presentation Speaker offer

I heard Tom speak at a BMWBMW meeting several years ago. Very interesting stuff. We are probably a bit small to have him at a breakfast of ours, but he's well worth listening to.

Re: 2009 RA Rally

I usually wait for the rally chair to announce it. Usually this is done immediately after the contract is signed; this year is no exception. It'll be a good rally. People liked the spot, lots of good riding. Not very far from us, for better or worse. The only negative I can think of (it's a very sma...
