I don't particularly want them to. I'd rather they did something about exhaust noise, seriously.

So I've been told that La Taza is no longer serving made-to-order food, and is instead serving reheated dishes prepared in advance. Has anyone been there since this change was made, and if so, is there a noticeable difference?

Thanks Ed.

A great website for tracking legislation in Virginia is www.richmondsunlight.com. It very effectively cross-links just about every significant aspect of legislation.

The bill for riding two abreast (which is dead) is here:

Why not? As long as they serve for people other than their overnight guests.

Who's going to be around? I will. I was thinking that if it was a nice enough day we could head down to Farmville again. However, that might deserve to wait until we can get a good crowd together.

Zion X-roads, Italian Villa (c-ville), Lynne's and Stony creek are all viable. Any prefs?

I have mixed feelings about the Inwood after our breakfast there on 12/2/07. It's nice that they can seat a group, but unfortunately they really don't seem to be able to handle a group. Even for eight people, the food came out in several batches and mine wasn't particularly warm. Looking at the kitc...

Wow, great ride after breakfast!! I thought Al and Harvey were going to tag along for a bit but I didn't see them as we went up 231. We kept going past Madison, past Banco, then doubled back to Criglersville on Poorhouse road, crossed the river and found our way through the wilderness to 230. Then d...

Just in case someone doesn't know how to get there, it couldn't be easier. Except for JD who has trouble finding the end of his driveway... :) From 'The Gordonsville Circle' go north on US15 for a few hundred yards, and you're there. The circle is the intersection of 33, 15, and 231 on the north sid...

OK, I just called the Inwood and we are set for 9:00 AM on Sunday the second. I said eight people; this is really flexible but if I can give them more accurate information I would like to. If you plan to be there, either post here or contact me otherwise. Don't let that stop you from showing up thou...

Chuck seems to be MIA so I'm making the call. The Inwood in Gordonsville. Gotta make provisions for the new guy. Also, La Taza (although I really like to go there) isn't really well set up for a group. It takes a goodly amount of luck to get a table there during breakfast hours. The new Italian pizz...

We went to a new-to-us breakfast place the other day; the Italian/pancake place between the Cavalier Inn and the new footbridge. OK, you have to know C-ville to know what I'm talking about. So... The Italian Villa & Pizza, 129 Emmett Street. It was decent. More tables than La Taza for sure. Typical ...

I haven't really kept up with the locations, but if we're looking to the east, the old candidates are Zion X-roads, the Innwood in Gordonsville, La Taza, the Tavern, Stony Creek, and... that might be about it. The place in Crozet is closed. There's the Mountaineer in Madison but I'm not wild about i...

Cool. I think we might actually make the next breakfast. It's been a while; lot of out-of-town road trips and so forth.

I do think the '07 GS looks a lot better than the '08. The '08 has such a short beak.

I was up at the BMWBMW Oktoberfest instead... did we have a decent turnout at Lynne's? Did you tar and feather the KTM guy and then ride him out of town on a rail?

What a great riding weekend...
