Re: New to the board

Toby - I live in Waynesboro also and would be up for a ride some day. The only catch is I had shoulder surgery last week and likely won't be able to ride again until July. In light of that, the weather we've had this past week has been a cruel joke. lol Feel free to shoot me an email some time as I'...

Was hoping to make it to Richmond this evening, but my schedule ultimately wouldn't allow it. Being responsible really sucks sometimes.
Oh well, for this evening's sacrifice I plan on rewarding myself tomorrow with a nice ride. :D

Long Way Down in theaters 7/31/08

This may be common knowledge, but a friend sent me a link the other day about a one night showing of Long Way Down in various theaters across the country this Thursday (7/31). Here's the link to help find the closest showing: http://www.fathomevents.com/details.aspx?eventid=725

/6 Glass headlight cover?

I broke mine the other night while changing the headlight bulb. Just checking to see if anyone in the area has an extra for sale that would work on my '75 R75/6.

Lots of great riding throughout that area. I had a few free hours on Sunday afternoon and took Rt 250 out to Monterey and back. A word of caution for what it's worth. Going back 4-5 years ago I've heard more than one person say that some of the western counties in VA are where some of the new state ...

Dan - thanks for the update. I don't know Mike, but that's irrelevant. Thoughts and prayers go out to Mike and his family. Keep us posted.

Pirelli Diablo Strada Promotion

Just wanted to pass on a tire promotion from Pirelli a friend informed me of, for what it's worth. Buy a rear Diablo Strada and get the front for free (actually charge you $25 for shipping and handling). Basically, you buy the rear tire and send in your reciept with a promotion form from Pirelli fou...

Thanks for taking the time to look into this. Currently I have no way of getting the bike to you, but will be considering your services for this project possibly in the future. Fortunately the R75 is what I ride the least and won't miss out on any riding even if it sits for awhile.
Thanks again.

Stripped drive shaft drain hole

Took advantage of being off work today and did some routine maintenance on my R75/6 after a little riding. Unfortunately, I managed to strip the drain hole threads on the drive shaft. I'm hoping to find a tap kit to repair it as there appears to be enough of the original thread to regroove it...
