Re: Frontline Eurosports Grand Opening June 22-23
I see that Frontline BMW is an expansion of Frontline Honda in Christiansburg. I recently found the exact Vespa I was looking for still in the crate at Frontline Honda. I was surprised because Christiansburg doesn't seem like Vespa country, and new 300 cc Vespas are hard to find anywhere. When I cal...

She only knows my bikes by color. She does, however, know exactly how much each one cost.AntonLargiader wrote:Could she tell what he was riding?

Re: Trooper crashes bike enroute to chase
My wife was going south on 151 when the cop was going north, blue lights flashing. According to my wife, he was riding the center line and cars were diving for the ditch. Her impression was that he was riding recklessly and going way too fast for conditions, and she wasn't surprised to find out that...

You might want to check out these guys. They're based closer to you and Roanoke, and know the area well.

I spoke to Chuck briefly last Saturday at the RA rally in WV. Sad news.

Thanks, Chuck. BTW, you may know Nick Whitmer, who sent me the mug.

Cycleworks
An ex-rider friend of mine sent me this mug. Anybody remember Leo at Cycleworks? He did some work on my R65 in the early 80s, but that's the last I've heard, except that he may be in WV.

I took a motorcycle seat to Danny's Upholstery at 10th and West in C-ville to be reworked, actually not expecting much. Surprisingly, he did a great job reshaping the foam to my fairly vague specs, and recovering it with some nice black vinyl. Nice work, at a reasonable $100. 977-1974.

I had a great trip to Pipestem State Park last weekend. The occasion was the WV Guzzi owners club rally. I figured they would appreciate the R90S, so I rode that, and I was right. Nice group of guys. Saturday was spent exploring the area around Fayetteville and the New River Gorge. A great riding we...
