Re: Twin Valley Rally

Sure hope some of you all were able to register.

We have closed registration, having reached our maximum of 150 rally-goers.

We'll have riders from 13 states, from Massachusetts to Alabama, with over 45% coming from out of state. The secret's out!

2nd Annual Twin Valley Rally

You may already have seen info on RA and MOA, but wanted to give fellow Virginians a heads-up before the registration fills up with out of towners. Twin Valley Riders (MOA #284, Roanoke and New River Valleys, VA) is again hosting the Twin Valley Rally Sept. 16-18, 2011. The rally will be held at Wil...

Twin Valley Rally

Hi all. Just wanted to give a heads up that Twin Valley Riders have finally stopped talking about organizing a rally and instead have committed to hosting one, albeit on short notice. Sept 17, 18, and 19 at Willville in Meadows of Dan. See TVR's website for details and registration: http://twinvalle...

Re: Dinner ride?

This week's weather couldn't look better. Was thinking this Thursday might be a great choice.

Dinner ride?

Any interest in a Thursday dinner ride in early September before the days get too short? Was thinking of trying out the Tanglewood Ordinary in Maidens, but other more knowledgeable opinions are welcome. Was thinking of a 3-4:00 departure from greater C-ville and a meandering route to dinner, then a ...

Re: VA Maps, sign logic

In Virginia, all public roads in every county except Henrico and Fairfax are state roads and as such are numbered, labeled, and maintained by Virginia Dept. of Transportation (VDOT). Most towns over 3500 pop. and all cities maintain their own roads. All primary routes are numbered under 600, all sec...

Re: Blue Grass Camp Night 2009

The 3 CBX's was not a coincidence. Twin Valley Rider Michael Abraham hosted a CBX meeting in Radford earlier in the week, and dragged two along with him. http://www.twinvalleyriders.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2275 Great time. Wish I'd had opportunity to meet some you guys. New (to me) ride coming...

Re: Blue Grass Camp Night 2009

I'll be there. Leaving from Roanoke with the TVR crew.

If you've registered and can't make it, please let Brian know. They've closed registration and I know a few folks who've been disappointed that it's full. It would be a shame if they turned folks away and then didn't have a full house.
